We meet on a IRC channel (chat room) to play and chat. If you have not used IRC before this page will help you get setup and on our chat room with the community. We also have a web based IRC client for quick connection to the channel, you will need Java installed on your computer to use it.

How to Setup RTSU IRC

This guide will tell you how to install and setup RTSU quick IRC package (mIRC and NoNameScript).

The RTS Universe IRC package is the quickest way to get on RTSnet IRC.

Download:

RTSU IRC download - RTS-Universe-IRC.msi

Install

Run the exe to install.

Run IRC from desktop shortcut.

Setup

On the first run you will get this screen. Here you can add #redalert3 and other channels to your channel list.

Once you have added all the channels you wish to auto join press Done.

Once mIRC has loaded you need to change your nickname. Go to NNScript > Setup.

Select Favorite networks. Select RTSnet in the list.

Change your nick name and alternative

Some Basic Commands

/nick name - Change your nickname (screen name).

/list - List all the channels on the server.

/join #chan - Join the channel called #chan.

Other Languages

RTSnet also has channels for other languages.
